Who you are, what you offer, what you need. Honest presentation is the foundation of every exchange that follows.

I will offer real value — skills, time, resources, or knowledge — not the appearance of value.

The community runs on genuine contribution. Performance without substance harms everyone who participates in good faith.

I will receive help with gratitude and repay it with contribution.

Receiving is as important as giving. The cycle of contribution is how value multiplies across the community.

I will not join this community to extract value without contributing value.

Extraction without contribution is the one thing this community cannot absorb. The entry process exists to prevent it.

I will treat every member with dignity regardless of their background, economy, or culture.

This is a global community. Dignity is not conditional on familiarity, similarity, or status.

I will not use this community to deceive, manipulate, or harm others.

Inside or outside the community. The Good Machine does not become a tool for harm in any direction.

I will participate in governance with honesty and community interest, not personal gain.

Every vote is a trust. Governance is the mechanism that protects everyone — including you.

I understand that my participation is visible to the community and permanently recorded.

Exchanges, governance votes, and major events are recorded on permanent infrastructure. This is a feature, not a warning.

I understand that removal from this community requires community governance — not one person's decision.

Due process protects every member, including you. No single person — including the founding steward — can remove a member alone.

I accept that the community's judgment about my membership is legitimate if I violate these commitments.

Accountability is how trust is maintained for everyone. Accepting this is part of joining.
